For several reasons, I’ve decided to stop allowing comments on my blog posts.
I’ve been reading a lot about doing away with comments for the past few years on the interwebs, and I do feel that they are a relic of the internet past. When blogs first began, it seemed that getting feedback on your blog from others was a necessary means of maintaining the flow of information. Over time the comments turned out to be kind of like the old usenet forums – just a place for people to vent. Then my blog started getting comment spam like you wouldn’t believe, and that was the last straw.
So from now on if you want to comment on anything I write, just drop me a note on the Contact page, or just link to my site from yours.
