I encountered a problem recently, even after updating to version 1.3, this problem still persists.
I download a lot of binary files from usenet. I use a nzb indexing service which helps me save some time from downloading headers, etc.
The newsreader would take the NZB, open its own folder, and starts decoding/downloading all the binaries into my PC, once done, I would use PARnRAR to repair/extract the files. The problem is when the folder contains 2 similarly named PAR sets, where one set is handling a non-rar file and the other set is for RAR, Par-n-rar would repair and handle only one file and then delete both PAR files as well as the not-yet-processed RAR file.
example folder contents:
file1.sample.par2
file1.sample.avi
file1.par2
file1.rar
file1.r00
file1.r01
file1.r02
file1.ro3
file1.sfv
file1.nfo
it would repair, move the verified file to the proper non-rar destination specified in options, once done, it would delete BOTH sets of par2 and my rar files, leaving only the following files:
file1.r00
file1.r01
file1.r02
file1.r03
file1.sfv
file1.nfo
this leaves me with no choice but to go back to recycle bin and restore files, then redo the operation either manually or without the initial set of file1.sample.par2 and file1.sample.avi
again, great program, and i appreciate all your hard work in it
